EIGHTIES pop star and Thurrock resident, David Van Day is recovering in hospital after suffering a heart attack.
The former Dollar and Bucks Fizz singer was rushed to Queen’s Hospital in Romford on Sunday night after complaining of feeling unwell.
YT understands that he has since been moved to St Barts where a stent that been placed. He remains stable.
Since moving to South Ockendon, David has been a popular figure in the borough as he pursues a number of projects.
His wife, Sue Moxley has been on social media to thank friends and well-wishers for their concerns.
