Thurrock parkrun to be dedicated to popular runner Laura

EVENT 59 will be dedicated to Thurrock parkrunner Laura Mann, who passed away peacefully on 2 November 2016.

A spokesperson for Thurrock park run said: “On behalf of everyone at Thurrock parkrun, Orsett Heath we send our deepest condolences to all her family.

“Please can we have a massive turnout and show our support to Laura’s husband Vince, children Amy and Leah and her family who will be taking part next parkrunday.

“We request that volunteers and runners wear something purple/lavender or alternately a bright colour.
