OVER 50 hardy parkrunners braved the cold weather to run over three miles on Christmas Eve.
But many also took the time to make a donation to the Thurrock Foodbank before they ran 5k round Orsett Heath.
A representative of Thurrock Foodbank was on hand to express their appreciation to the runners.
He said: “We really do appreciate your contribution. This will go a long way.”
