HUNDREDS of Chadwell St Mary residents are fearful for the future of their health service after receiving a letter from the Chadwell Medical Practice,

The letter advises patients of the changes to the centre at 1 Brentwood Road.

The current GP’s are: Dr Mohile and Dr Lie.

It states: “Following a national funding review by NHS England and a breakdown in the partnership of the two doctors, the current contract will end om March 31st, 2017.

“You can continue to access primary care services in the usual way and that the current team will be available to support you.

“NHS England is now seeking an alternative short term provider who will take over the running and management of the practice.”

The news comes amidst concerns for the health service both nationally and locally.

Over the past few weeks, YT has reported on the crisis at Basildon Hospital as well as the possible closure of East Tilbury Medical Centre (as well as hopes to save it) and the vast shortfall of GPs in Thurrock.

We have contact a number of organisations as part of a number of follow up stories on this subject.

  1. Can’t the tories just privatise it NOW rather than do the normal tory thing of running public services down then saying privatising will sort it.

I know it will end up in foreign ownership in the end game.

We all know the NHS will end up foreign owned paying Offshore Tax
    with foreign pensioners gaining.
