A Charity Dinner Event on Thursday January 26th 2017 is set to be held at the Waves Restaurant in South Essex College.
The event is being held by Thurrock GIFT. This is a community fund project of Thurrock CVS and has been established to support funding for over 300 local charities, community group and organisations allowing them to continue to support and serve the people of Thurrock with services and activities such as: Befriending for the elderly and isolated, those with a range of mental and physical disabilities, child poverty, domestic violence, substance abuse, debt and money advice.
In the next 12 months they are aiming to raise over £50,000 to support these groups.
