EMERGENCY Services were called to the West Thurrock Memorial Ground after reports that a car had been set alight.
A spokeswoman for the fire service said:
“Firefighters were called to a car fire in London Road, Grays at 1:50am on Monday 13 February.
“Firefighters had extinguished the fire by 2:20am. The incident was recorded as deliberate and left in the care of the Police.”
