A TEENAGER has pled guilty to being in possession of a knife in a school in Grays.
The sixteen-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Basildon Youth Court on Feb 7th, 2017.
They pled guilty to the following: “On 07/10/2016 at Grays. had with you, without good reason or lawful authority, in a public place, the Hathaway Academy, an article which had a blade or was sharply pointed, namely a kitchen knife .
The teenager was referred to South Essex Youth Offender panel for a contract having effect for nine months.
They were fined a total of £85.00
