ESSEX Police were called to reports of a vehicle on its side in Princess Margaret Road, East Tilbury at around 1.10am on Sunday, February 19.
Witnesses reported a male occupant had made off from the scene after the incident.
Officers attended but no-one has been located.
The vehicle was recovered at around 3.45am.
