PURFLEET Community Hub needs people to make things happen! The Hub, one of a programme of community hubs across Thurrock, is looking for more volunteers so the range of services and the opening hours can be increased.
Volunteers, trustees and activity organisers can give a few hours a month or a few hours a week, during the day and in the evening, developing the hub for local people in Purfleet. To find out more, come along to the Hub, in River Court, Centurion Way on 15 March between 10am and 12 noon and join the hubbub of people talking about how to make a difference.
The Community Hub is looking for volunteers and trustees to provide information, support, signposting and advice, develop people’s computer skills, help out in the library, be a part of the Steering Group which oversees the Hub’s work, or run a group or activity.
Volunteers:
• Make a positive difference to other people and their neighbourhood;
• Share their skills and learn new ones;
• Get job ready, with CV boosting experience;
• Meet new people and make friends;
• Have fun!
If you would like to know more about being a volunteer at Purfleet Community Hub come and join the hubbub on 15 March, or email purfleetcommunityhub@gmail.com
