A man has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving following a road crash in Orsett.
A HGV was in collision with a stationary Toyota Corolla Verso on the northbound side of the A1089 Dock Approach Road on July 27, 2016.
The front seat passenger of the Toyota, Jacqueline Welsh, 60, from Grays, sadly died at the scene.
Trevor Jenkins, 54, a driver, of Bogshole Lane, Herne Bay, Kent, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and is due to appear at Basildon Magistrates’ Court on April 6.
