Lee Valley Indoor Open
AT the Lee Valley Indoor Open on 5th March, Thurrock Harriers AC Athlete Oreofe Adepegba moved to East of England No1 U15b in HJ on his first outing of the season with a SB 160cm Jump =PB moving him also into =15th in U.K. this with a further two pbs in both rounds of 60m with best Time of 10.01s.
Funmi Adewole achieved four U15g PBs on the day, both rounds of 60m best of 8.77s, 200m 29.33s and 3k Shot throw of 6m49cm. Gbenga Adewole U15 Shot PB to 5m75cm with good performances in both 60m 9.42s and 200m 33.11s
Nationals
At the National Indoor Championships last weekend in Sheffield, as well as gaining valuable experience taking part in a national competition, Leisha Hunt got a PB in 60m race with a time of 8.26s . Ruby Bridger gained a PB in the 60m Hurdles with a time of 9.09s. Daniel
Ogutuga gained a PB in the 200m with a time of 24.77s.
Cross Country Success

The under 15 boys squad had a great winter in the Essex League winning the title by some margin. They are pictured here with their trophy.
Individual
Hayley Instance was the top under 15 girl in the winter gaining County Vests for Club and School.
The Harriers junior cross-country squad is one of the most successful in the Country with 8 athletes gaining County selection.
