Update: Missing three-year-old found safe

Update: Police have found three-year-old Peggie Happer from the Jaywick/Clacton area.

========

ESSEX Police are concerned for the welfare of three-year-old Peggie Happer and her parents who are missing in the Jaywick/Clacton area.

Peggie was last seen with her mother Lisa Douglas, 33, also known as Lisa Tonner, on Tuesday, April 4. Since then police enquiries have failed to locate them. We believe they may also be in the company of Peggie’s father James Happer, aged 44.

DI Greg Wood said: “The lifestyle Peggie’s parents lead is what causes me concern for her welfare. Both are believed to be involved with drugs and that’s not an environment a child should be exposed to.

“While there is currently no legal reason why Peggie should not be with her parents, I am concerned that she may not be receiving the level of care she needs.”

Anyone who sees Peggie, Lisa or James is asked to contact officers at Clacton police station on 101.
