LEFT wing campaigners are set to flock into Thurrock as part of a day of action in the General Election campaign.
Momentum is a left wing organisation founded in 2015 and very much in tune with the political beliefs of Jeremy Corbyn.
Momentum are inviting activists to join them at their campaign office, Community House, Deveron Gdns, South Ockendon
A spokesperson said: “At 9.30 am Momentum activist and Battersea councillor Aydin Dikerdem will be visiting from London to conduct a training session on engaging voters and getting across a compelling, progressive message on the doorstep.
“Refreshments and solidarity provided! We’ll go canvassing at 10.30 am, but if you can’t go arrive by then, there will be canvassing throughout the day”.
YT understands that they are joining a mass Day of Action which will see a wide range of Thurrock Labour campaigners out and about in the borough supporting John Kent in his bid to be MP for Thurrock.
