THURROCK Council has been to court today in order to remove an unlawful encampment from Kilverts Field in Grays.
The encampment on the field near Argent Street in Grays has been there for a week, much to the anger and consternation of residents and businesses alike.
Overt the past year, the Tory run Thurrock Council has been able to persuade Essex Police to enforce a Section 61 order so that the encampment would love in 48 hours however, on this occasion, they were unsuccessful.
After 9 days camped on Kilvert’s Field, Right under Thurrock Councils Ivory Towers they now move their seven caravans right next door to the Thames Road Car Park, what a waste of money putting height barriers up to stop large vehicles getting in the car park, and there will now be a massive car parking revenue lost as the public are not going to park their cars next to all these caravans and trucks.
