GRAYS Athletic crash scout of the FA Cup with a 3-2 defeat against Hertford Town.

The game went to extra time but it must be a huge disappointment to the Blues that they could not get further in this year’s cup.

Grays Athletic scored through Perry Dunn (4′) and Jamie Slabber (28′).

Hertford Town’s heroes were Tommy Wade (12′), Charlie Edwards (64′) and Daniel Ferrigno (98′).

Grays return to action in the league away to Barking on Saturday.
