MORE than 26,000 square metres of Thurrock’s roads have been improved since August claims Thurrock Council

Roads in Purfleet, Grays, Corringham, Fobbing, Horndon-on-the-Hill, Chadwell St Mary and Orsett have all been resurfaced.

Portfolio Holder for Highways, Cllr Brian Little, said: “The improvements we have made for residents and business reach right across Thurrock. All road users should see the difference where these works have been carried out.

“Clean it, cut it, fill it continues to deliver for residents and the council has also filled more than 4,100 potholes since April.

“We know the condition of roads is one of the highest priorities for our residents – which is why it is a priority for the council.”
