National Tennis success for South Essex College students

SOUTH Essex College students were successful at the Association of Colleges Sport Championships, helping the East region to place third in table tennis nationally and in the top 10 in tennis.

Four students from the College competed at the AoC Nationals last weekend in Nottingham. Charisma Nugui and Kane Elkin took part in the tennis tournament while Liam Squirrell and Rebecca Roach helped the table tennis team place in the top three.

The tournament sees students from all over the country come together to compete for national titles and accolades.

Aimee Bose, Advanced Practitioner, said: “What an amazing achievement for the East region, our students contributed to these fantastic results. It’s great to see our students representing the College on a national level.”
