Letter to Editor: An appeal from a Cyprus Veteran: Are you related to Geoffrey John Tuffee?


Dear Sir,

I am searching for the family of the late :- Driver Geoffrey John TUFFEE is one of the 371 British Servicemen who died on active service during the four-year Cyprus Emergency April 1 1955 to April 18 1959, and whose name is among those remembered with honour on the British Cyprus Memorial.

Serving with the RASC he died on June 21 1957. Aged 18 from West Thurrock.

He is buried at Wayne’s Keep, the British military cemetery in Cyprus, Plot 24 Row B Grave 20.
