OFFICERS from BTP recently appealed for information after a member of staff was assaulted at Basildon station. The incident happened at approximately 8.30pm on 20 July.
Following this appeal, a 20-year-old man from Tilbury was arrested on suspicion of occasioning grievous bodily harm.
He has been bailed to return to police custody on 28/08/2018. The media and public are thanked for their help in sharing this appeal.
