THE FORMER leaders of Thurrock UKIP joined Conservative activists on the campaign trail.

Graham Snell and Roy Jones were pictured out in Stanford-le-Hop with South Basildon and East Thurrock MP, Stephen Metcalfe as well as a host of Tory councillors.

A year ago, the two former councillors for Stifford Clays and Stanford East left UKIP to form a new party called the Thurrock Independent Party. A few months later thy lost their seats at the local elections. Soon after, they joined their third party in less than a year, when they were paraded as new members of the Thurrock Conservatives.

It is anticipated that they both will fight seats in May, possibly the new which they won and lost for two other parties.

  1. Jesus,They have more names than votes in tomorrows doom vote by the wicked witch of the west.
JDP will stand by PM May though. She always could spot a winning cause.

It is outrageous the betrayal of those UKIP two who joined the Tories for tomorrows vote on something no one on any side agrees with.
