Bluebird Care Thurrock & Castle Point is hoping to raise awareness of good nutrition and hydration and promote the importance of maintaining healthy eating within the local area. Nutrition & Hydration Week aims to highlight and promote nutrition and hydration locally, nationally and even globally.

As part of this awareness week Nutricia, an organisation who offer advice on advanced medical nutrition, have put together a fact sheet highlighting what a healthy diet entails and tips to improve nutrition. Some of these tips include having plenty of starchy foods, along with fruit and vegetables as well as focusing on foods that are a good energy source.
