DETECTIVES investigating an aggravated burglary in Grays yesterday evening, Monday, April 1, are appealing for witness, CCTV and dash cam footage.
It was reported that three men, described as being white and aged in their 20s , forced entry into an address on Crammavill Street around 5pm.
The men, two of them were said to be wearing balaclavas, threatened the occupants with a knife and a hammer before searching a bedroom and stealing jewellery.
Investigating officer DC Samantha Lewin said: “This crime has left the victims frightened in their own home and we want to find those responsible.
“We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area around this time and saw or captured any suspicious behaviour either on their CCTV or dash cam.
