A MAN found in possession of eight bags of cocane has been fined just £21.
Carlos Moneiro, aged 21, of Not Fixed Abode, pleaded guilty to the following at Basildon magistrates court.
On 04/01/2020 at Grays had in your possession eight wraps of cocaine, a controlled drug of class A in contravention of section 5(1) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
He was discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay £21.
Moneiro was described as a young person, co-operated with police, no previous convictions.
Deport him now.
We don’t need anymore drug dealing scum on our streets.
£21 fine, says it all. You get a bigger fine for dropping a cigarette butt.
And they wonder why the public are losing faith in the justice system. The court must be on drugs them selves .8 bags of cocaine ,the reason he has no previous is because he has never been caught before, he is a DRUG DEALER for gods sake.
Maybe it should be reported why the court gave out such a small fine?
Apart from the obvious that £21 to him is like £500 to someone else it could be that he gave details of all those that had supplied him in exchange for a low fine, it’s the people up the chain that need to be caught.
Bring back hanging for drug dealers I say.
8 wraps Cocaine = £21
1 dogend= £150.
Seems its ok to be a dealer but not a smoker…………..
