ST. JOHN’S Ambulance in Grays ran four additional ambulances today (Friday 10th April) to support NHS staff.
The ambulance service are based on 97 London Rd in Grays.
Derek Wright, paramedic for St. John’s Ambulance and also of East of England Ambulance Service, announced on social media: “3 of these (ambulances) will be covering core 999 work for both East of England and London Ambulance whilst the 4th is being dedicated to the movement of ITU patients around the county. This is also being supported by the Logistics team for restocking both between and during their shifts throughout the day.
“These are volunteers supporting their community to help you all to be safe.
“Please be safe. Please be sensible. Stay at home.”
