THREE nurses at North East London NHS Foundation Trust (NELFT) have released a moving video, paying tribute to those affected by the coronavirus.
The video titled “Rainbow – Gemma, Nicolle, Sophie and the rest of Thurrock ICT (Integrated community teams)’, sees the nurses singing along as various pictures of NHS staff are shown.
The nurses posted this comment in the description of the video: “We wanted to release this video for everyone who has been affected by the recent coronavirus outbreak.
“Everyone in the NHS, Our Key Workers, Our Fellow Nurses, All of our Patients; and to everybody who is struggling through this difficult time – this is for you.
“Love from Gemma, Nicolle, Sophie, and the rest of Thurrock ICT.”
Tracey LeMay, who shared the video on twitter, said: “Super proud to work for @NELFT. Had to share this beautiful song performed by our incredibly talented nurses.
“Well done ladies #thurrock superhero’s.”
The aim of the NELFT is to provide to provide mental health and community health services to those in need.
The Integrated community teams provide a wide range of nursing care to people who are unable to leave their homes even with the support of family, friends or carers.
