HAVE a look at the photograph. Where is the social distancing? These Thurrock Council enforcement officers had the cheek to ask me and my family if we were aware of the guidelines when we were out exercising.
We took a five mins rest near Grays Beach Park as we had small kids with us but we were told we can’t rest.
Then the three enforcement officers decided to walk away side by side. When we asked them why they wasn’t social distancing they said it’s because they work together.
Well the government guidelines states that you should be two metres apart unless you live in the same house hold.
They also approach you like you are a criminal.

I have just wasted 1 minute of my time reading your little rant about these enforcement officers whom I just say are out there for hours on end trying hard to protect or country and advise members of the public.
You have taken your time to take a picture of these people and post them online scrutinising their work. You are aware that these individuals all work in the same officer right. Just like police officers who are 4 in one vehicle policing the street to keep people like you safe.
They are key workers, working and putting their lives at risk to make sure people are following the government guidelines so we can all get over this pandemic. While you’re out for your walk with your family, these people are on the front line trying to do something about it all.
So shame on you to take your precious time to write negative comments about these key workers instead of understand why they are out there. They are out there for you!!!
I was approached by these Thurrock enforcement officers while sitting on a bench in the park and they kindly came over making me aware that the virus is able to live in metal for up to 12 hours.
Personally I find it utterly selfish that you would try to put people down when they are out there for hours on end trying hard to support the police so our country can get back to normal.
You should be ashamed of yourself in my opinion.
They all work together, probably all work in the same office. So you think all nurses in hospitals all keep two metres apart from on another??
Key workers my friend!! Key workers out on the front line trying to help while you are on your walk with your family.

Quite an outburst from Newwordorder there but I think the point about social distancing is well made and certainly not pathetic as you claim.
Surely common sense would dictate that while enforcing these guidelines they should lead by example instead of discarding it whether it be through general ignorance or or a belief that these rules do not apply to them due a misguided sense of self importance.
I applaud any efforts to clean up the borough and additionally stem the flow of the current pandemic however from what I have observed these Civil enforcement and Environmental protection officers primary function appear to be money making machines for the local government. I have personally observed them doing their best to hide themselves while watching or following smokers and pouncing the moment a cigarette is disposed in a manner consistent with the legal description of littering.
While I would not condone littering. This raises the question why do they feel the need to conceal themselves? The answer seems to be that if they are a visible presence then it is far less likely people would drop litter which is really the goal that they should be trying achieve but would negate the opportunity to impose a fine. It is also interesting to note that the majority of these officers opt not to wear strip across their back giving the public a clear indication as to their role and purpose which again seems to be a further indication of a need to act in a covert manner.
At this juncture I would like to point out that this post simply represents my personal views and I would not try to force them on to others but simply offer a different perspective to Newworldorder and allow anyone who reads this to make up their own mind at their digression as opposed to calling others opinions pathetic.
I would however be curious to hear other people views on this.
