The news has been announced to mark International Day of Charity, which is celebrated globally on 5th September.
In 2012, The Fragrance Shop were the first health and beauty retailer to partner with Pennies, giving consumers the option to add a donation to their in-store card purchase. These micro-donations have raised over £235,000 to date, and have been donated by over 4.4 million shoppers. Kind shoppers donate 25p in store to the charity fund via The Fragrance Shop and Pennies.
