THURROCK has the highest rate of infection for Covid-19 in the whole county.
More than half of districts have recorded Covid-19 infection rates of over 100, according to the latest data.
Thurrock has 154.9 per 100,000 people for the week up to October 22.
The borough is still under Tier One restrictions while the vast majority of the county is on Tier Two measures.

Strange how these figures have come out now..bit of scaremongering me thinks???
You should put this into context based on the statement from Thurrock Council last week rather than exaggerate the numbers!
Because it’s listed as Thurrock as a whole. Not separate towns like the others, make it accurate by listing as Grays,Tilbury,Stanford, East Tilbury etc as separate numbers and that will be a lot lower than the others.
