Lockdown learning – free qualification courses for Thurrock residents to retrain
TO help with retraining in these challenging times, Thurrock Adult Community College has a range of qualification courses for adults, aged 19 or over, that are free for residents from across the borough who earn less than £17,004 per year or are receiving state benefits and on a low income (terms and conditions apply). Free confidence boosting sessions and employment skills webinars, to help you stand out from the crowd when applying for jobs, are also now available online.
Residents are also able to apply to the College’s Discretionary Learner Support Fund (DLSF) for contributions towards fees, course related costs and equipment loans (subject to household income).
