Appeal after theft of motor bike in Chadwell St Mary

ESSEX Police appealing for information after a garage was broken into on Cedar Road, Chadwell St Mary.


It was reported that a BMW motorbike was taken from the garage at around 12am on Thursday 11 February. 

An Essex Police spokesperson said: “We believe that three or four people may have been moving through gardens in the area before reaching the garages and taking the bike.

“The bike was later recovered.

“We’re asking anyone who witnessed the motorbike being taken, or anyone in the area who has CCTV or dash cam, to get in touch. 

A  local 18-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and burglary, has since been released under investigation.
