STANFORD-le-Hope hurdler Hayley McLean produced the run of her life in the final of the 400 metre hurdles at the UK Champs.
Hayley, who runs for Shaftsbury Harriers, had a very difficult task as she was drawn in the outside lane and so she had no-one to chase but everyone had Hayley in their sights.
But Hayley produced a very strong second half of her race to come home fifth in a time of 56.41 seconds.

This now lays a great platform for Hayley to attempt to represent England at next year’s Commonwealth Games.
