TACC Adult Learners celebrate GCSE results at Community College

ADULT learners at Thurrock Adult Community College (TACC) are celebrating another set of fantastic GCSE pass results. The College Principal, Jaki Bradley, said ‘Congratulations to our GCSE learners – they did so well and succeeded in the most difficult of circumstances.

They are a great set of results and it’s very positive that the moderators also supported the grades awarded. We are so proud of both our adult learners and amazing staff, who continued to deliver adult education for Thurrock residents throughout difficult operating circumstances’. Their tutor, Susan, added that she was so proud of this group of learners, adding ‘the learners have worked extremely hard with some of them having Covid during the course; some learners were unfamiliar with technology and yet they persevered and met the challenges!’

TACC inspires futures at any age or stage of life offering a wide range of lifelong learning opportunities for adults aged 19 and over. Spaces are available on free GCSE maths and English classes starting September (ESFA eligibility rules apply). Register your interest for a pre-course assessment, to make sure you are on the right level to achieve for your career or for Higher Education.
