A THURROCK-based IT company has organised an international cartoon contest where the task was to “express the IT and Technology issues in today’s business environment.
This is the first of its kind in the UK and soon attracted over 500 entries from 148 world-class artists from 43 different countries.
It has been described as “one of the most significant international cartoon events hosted in Britain, if not the greatest!.
A spokesperson said: “This campaign aims to increase public awareness regarding IT & Tech Issues in today’s life.
Therefore, we uploaded all the works submitted for the contest on an online gallery, where the public can vote for their favourite artwork.
The voting will continue until 7th September 2021, and four works will award as the People’s Choice.
A jury consist of three internationally acknowledged professional Cartoonists will select the winners of TechVertu 1st International Cartoon Contest, and the announcement will take place via a Microsoft Teams event on the 9th of September.
