A MAN will appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court today (3 September).
Dragos Stefan Damian, 27, of no fixed address was extradited yesterday.
He was arrested just outside of Milan on Thursday 10 June in connection with our ongoing investigation into the deaths of 39 people who were discovered in a lorry trailer in Grays in October 2019.
He has been charged with conspiracy to assist unlawful immigration and encouraging or assisting the commission of an offence.
