A MAN has appeared in court charged with manslaughter in connection with the death of 40-year-old Gary Clark.
Mr Clark, from Grays, was assaulted in Southend Road, Grays, at about 12am on Monday 30 November, 2020. Sadly, he died from his injuries on Tuesday 1 December, 2020.
Alin Zaharia, 26, of Lenmore Avenue, in Grays, appeared in Basildon Crown Court today and denied one count of manslaughter.
He is next due to appear at the same court for a trial preparation hearing on November 21.
