SOUTH Essex Rape and Incest Crisis Centre (Sericc) has been awarded a Thurrock Mayor’s certificate of recognition.

I would like to offer SERICC’s gratitude to you for the Mayors Certificate of Recognition acknowledging SERICC’s Independent Sexual Violence Advisor Service (ISVA’s)
The whole ISVA team welcomed the acknowledgment of their support work to victims and survivors of sexual violence and abuse during Covid. They all carried on working frontline throughout lockdown and after lockdown, ensuring that through 2020-21 SERICC supported 500 Thurrock adult and child victims in attending police, court, family court, housing and medical appointments, the majority of which were in the ‘real world’ not virtual.
SERICC is very proud of them.
