LAST week, the Council completed the road resurfacing in Sleepers Farm Road, Chadwell St Mary.
Conservative Councillor for Chadwell, Adam Carter said: “Residents from Sleepers Farm Road contacted me about the amount of noise generated from buses and how dire the road condition was.
“Only a Conservative Council can provide the funding to ensure we have good quality road surfaces. I welcome the improvement this will bring to Chadwell, and due to a great capital plan, it will be the first of a few roads in Chadwell getting a full resurface this year.”
Cabinet Member for Transport & Highways, Cllr Ben Maney said: “It is great working with Cllr Carter who doesn’t just shout and demand thing needs to be done, he collects everything required to make sure it gets done!”
