YOU don’t need to be a star of the silver screen to get the VIP treatment this summer, after Hollywood Bowl Lakeside announced it is giving away free bowling to guests named Holly Wood on National Bowling Day (13th August).
This Saturday, the bowling brand is inviting anyone called Holly Wood or Holly Woods to enjoy a free game of bowling for them and their friends or family if they show proof of identification to a team member on arrival.
The centre which is located on Thurrock Way is putting the movie capital of the world in the spotlight to launch an exciting competition for bowling fans to win a trip of a lifetime to Tinseltown.
All guests who visit the centre during the school summer holidays will have the chance to enter the competition to win a holiday to Hollywood in Los Angeles for up to four people by taking part in a summer selfie in the centre.
Calvin Sheridan, Centre Manager at Hollywood Bowl Lakeside, said: “The school summer holidays are our favourite time of the year so to bowl over our guests we are launching an amazing competition to win a holiday of a lifetime to Los Angeles.
“And to have some fun, anyone who shares Hollywood’s namesake can bring their friends and family to enjoy a game of bowling on us.”
Hollywood Bowl is pulling out all the pins to keep families entertained during the school break with a variety of seasonal offers. Guests can enjoy 25% off for early bowlers before 11am as well as new delicious summer drinks to be enjoyed from the centre’s iconic American diner.
And for any guests wishing to keep up the fun, they can play it cool in the famous Hollywood Bowl arcade and enjoy amusement machines with all-time favourites, such as the classic grabbers, air hockey and iconic games like Mario Kart and Halo.
