THE big news of the week was the sudden appearance of the permanent signage that has appeared around the heath. To the likes of me and Dave Springham, who helped me campaign for them, it is fantastic.
Also, for the Steve’s and Dean that have long since given up any Saturday morning lie in to arrive at 07:00, come frost, rain or snow who come out and help me set up the course and finish area, it’s manner from heaven.
It is a great step forward. Even the tail walkers were talking about not having to pull the golf trolley anymore.
