THURROCK U15’s put in a very good performance in miserable conditions at Crow Lane on Sunday.

Dibble caught the kick off from Romford and made a strong run gaining good ground, then a nice pass out too our backs but the ball was unfortunately knocked on.

From the scrum, which we dominated early on, the ball spilled out for Tubby to kick on and control to score with Driscoll converting.

Our forwards play created the next try . Robinson tipped the ball too ‘Man Of The Match’ Dibble, which left the Romford players flat footed giving space for Tredwell score.

Two more tries were scored before the break. Tubby getting his second and McCarthy going over as well. ( Score 0 – 24 ).

Second half was more of the same from Thurrock putting pressure in the danger zone of Romford, which caused another scrum. The ball spilled out again and like a cat Tredwell pounced to touch down with Driscoll converting. The final try was scored by Wright, with the result ending 0 – 36.

A good performance for the boys confidence as they now go into three tough fixtures in league and cup.
