THURROCK residents have beeb asked to only use A and E in an emergency with Easter and a doctors strike looming.
A spokesperson for Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust, said:“The four-day period of strike will have a significant impact on the level of care we can safely provide to patients
It’s really important that only those who urgently need emergency care come to A&E. Someone’s life, perhaps those of one of your loved ones, could very well depend on it.
“During strike action, we will prioritise resources to protect emergency treatment – including managing life and limb-threatening conditions, critical care, neonatal care and trauma.
“You not being in A&E, if you don’t need to be, will make a big difference and help us remain safe and allow us to give the best life-saving care to patients.”
