Police appeal after serious assault in Chadwell St Mary

OFFICERS investigating an assault in Grays in June are releasing an e-fit image of a man they want to speak with in connection with this investigation.

A police spokesperson said: “We were called to Longhouse Road in Grays at around 10pm on 27 June following reports of a man being assaulted. The victim was approached by a man who confronted him before punching him in the face multiple times.

The assault left the victim with injuries including a laceration to his eyebrow.  

The suspect is described as a black man in his early 20s who drove a black BMW.

Enquiries into this assault have remained ongoing and officers are now releasing an e-fit image of a man we would like to speak with.
