GRAYS Athletic’s deeply underwhelming start to the season continued with a home defeat against Lowestoft Town.
Lowestoft secured all three points through Harvey Sayer (16′ pen), and Jake Reed (43, 75).
Grays’s scorers were Sam Bantick (20 pen) and David Knight (90)
The result leaves Grays fourth from bottom.
They return to league action next Saturday away at Wroxham.
