RESIDENTS on a Grays residential road rallied together to mount a spectacular Halloween display and after the counting has stopped have revealed they made a spooktacular amount of £637 for St Luke’s Hospice.
For the 19th tear the event took place on King Edward Drive and after an early downpour didn’t dampen spirits as visitors flocked to join residents,.
A residents’ spokesperson said: “It was so lovely to see some old and new friends there, we had a lady travel all the way from Beckton just to see our road and didn’t all the kids look great.
