Grays Ath 1 v 3 Heybridge Swifts
GRAYS Ath lost 3-1 to Heybridge Swifts this Saturday (13 January) at the EMR Stadium. Blues have now lost their last four Isthmian League North Division games.
Heybridge took the lead after just four minutes through Jack Adlington-Pile, but Grays levelled the game thanks to Kein Connolly’s 45th-minute penalty kick.
Swifts regained the advantage after 63 minutes. Sam Bantick finished well.
The away side doubled their lead eight minutes later as Adlington-Pile got his Brace.
Blues fall to in-form Heybridge.
Grays play Watford U-21s in a friendly next Saturday (20 January) at the EMR Stadium.
