TO mark the beginning of pride week in Thurrock – which culminates in the Pride Festival on Saturday (8 June) the ‘Progress Flag’ was raised at the Civic Offices in Grays yesterday (Monday, 3 June).
Borough Mayor Cllr Kairan Raper presided at a short ceremony and raised the flag, supported by members of the local LGBTQ+ community,. Thurrock Council Staff Network members and Thameside Theatre and Library staff.
