LOCAL rail operator Trenitalia c2c has expanded its ticketing suite just in time for summer with its Family Travelcard available for purchase on the c2c website, c2c travel app and at TVMs (Ticket Vending Machines), as of 19 July.

The new Family Travelcard represents amazing value for customers and can be purchased by families looking to travel into and around London for the day, from anywhere across our network.

The new ticketing option covers off-peak travel across zones 1-6, so, you can head up to London with the family, hop on the tube, buses, the overground, the DLR and get home again, all with our Family Travelcard.

Now available digitally, the Family Travelcard offers discounts of up to 25% off for adults, while children aged between 5-15 travel for just 2 (terms and conditions apply*).
All kinds of family groups and members can take advantage of the Family Travelcard. Eligibility starts with one adult and one child and covers up to a maximum of two adults and four children.

And to offer as much flexibility as possible, different family combinations will also be able to purchase the travelcard, such as two siblings (so long as one is over 16).
The Family Travelcard forms part of c2c’s Summer Value campaign, so our customers can enjoy the fun of summer (no matter what the weather brings) across the route with the whole family, including free and great value days out between London to Southend.

Furthermore, as part of the campaign, kids can travel for just 2 on weekends and school holidays.

c2c is encouraging customers to get involved and check out all the great places that exist in our local communities such as the Essex Wildlife Trust sites and Adventure Island in Southend.

Plus, there are some fun events that c2c is proud to be supporting over the coming months, including the Lazy Days music festival on the 26-28 July and the Leigh Regatta on the 7-8 September.
