
IT proved to be a tough bank Holiday weekend for Essex and Suffolk Border League East Thurrock Community FC reports the Thurrock Nub News.
The fledgling fan-owned side that was created out of the ashes of defunct East Thurrock United are finding life difficult in the Premier division of the league and are still to win a point, with four consecutivbe defeats.
On Saturday they went down 4-1 to Kings Park Rangers in a match that saw them lose young midfielder Kyle Smith with a badly broken collarbone. Harry Prince got the Rocks’ consolation goal.
They were back at the Wyldecrest Sports County Club on Monday, but went down heavily again, this time 5-2 to Sudbury Sports.
