THE traditional Remembrance parade and service took place in Purfleet on Sunday, 3 November.
The parade, led by a lone piper, left Purfleet Heritage and Military Centre and made is way to St Stephen’s Church where a service of Remembrance took place.
The Last Post sounded and two minutes of silence honoured those from Purfleet who fell in the two World Wars. Their names, and those of civilian casualties, were read out.
