Appeal after pedestrian struck by car in Stanford-le-Hope

ESSEX Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Stanford-le-Hope.

Officers were called to Billet Lane, close to the junction with Corringham Road Park playground, at around 12:50pm on Saturday 7 December following reports of a collision between a red Mazda car and a 36-year-old woman in which a car has failed to stop.

Fortunately, the pedestrian’s injuries are not believed to be serious at this time.

Investigating officers believe there may be witnesses who haven’t spoken to officers to date.
